Class 1 HGV Driver - Norwich (NR6) - Temp to Perm NEW IMPROVED PAY

The Best Connection are currently recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Norwich NR6. This is an excellent opportunity for Class 1 drivers with the potential to be trained on Wag and Drag - looking for ongoing work with the potential of a permanent position.

Pay Rates (PAYE)

• £16.50 per hour - Standard Rate (up to 8 hours)
• £24.75 per hour - Overtime (after 8 hours)
• £33.00 per hour - Sundays (all hours)
• £26.20 tax free per night out

Job Role

• Driving Class 1 Arctics or Wag & Drag vehicles
• Delivering window frames
• No handball required
• Early morning starts from 02:00
• Nationwide deliveries and collections
• Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
• Ensuring compliance with driver hours and road transport regulations
• Work may involve up to 2 nights out per week (always truck stops -not roadside)

Working Pattern

• Work may be required across all 7 days (subject to driver hours regulations)
• Ongoing work available

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
• Wag & Drag experience an advantage, but training available
• Good understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
