About this role

Seeking an enthusiastic & compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join our team. Ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs & eager to develop their skills within a specialist educational setting. SEPTEMBER start, closing date 30th June (will close earlier if filled before).

Key details

  • £13,000 (apprentice wage for first year).
  • Monday to Friday, 8:345am – 3:30pm
  • 1.5-year apprenticeship

Role overview

Support pupils 1

1 and in small groups

  • Help pupils engage in learning and track their progress
  • Assist with planning, marking and classroom resources
  • Promote positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing
  • Provide support with SEND needs and learning strategies

Requirements

  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above)
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Patient, proactive and reliable
  • Passion for supporting young people
