Gatehouse Operative

Turners (Soham) Ltd is the UK’s largest privately owned Transport Company. We are looking to recruit a Gatehouse Operative working within the Traffic Department based in Newmarket.

Shift pattern – 4 on 4 off, 07:00-19:00

Salary

£28,000 - £31,000 per annum D.O.E.

The role involves

• Control arrivals and departures to and from the site.
• Accurately record data in our internal computer system.
• Ensure procedures are followed by employees and visitors.
• Checks of driver paperwork and fridge temperatures.

• Computer literate
• Be able work under own initiative
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to deal with challenging situations in a professional manner
• Be able to work well under pressure.
