Catering & Hospitality Assistant

About this role

Leading UK professional services organisation seeks a reliable, customer‑focused Catering & Hospitality Assistant to deliver high‑quality service across its offices. Ideal for an experienced professional who takes pride in exceptional standards and enjoys working in a client‑facing environment.

Part of the Operations & Facilities team, you will support catering for meetings, client entertaining and corporate events. This hands‑on role requires flexibility, efficiency and a strong focus on presentation, cleanliness and service.

Key responsibilities

Deliver high‑quality catering for meetings, events and hospitality functions

Prepare and set up meeting rooms: furniture, layout and equipment

Maintain kitchens, equipment and preparation areas to high hygiene standards

Follow food safety and health & safety regulations strictly

Assist with ordering supplies and consumables

Clear and reset areas promptly after use

Work closely with facilities teams to ensure smooth daily operations

Provide occasional out‑of‑hours support for events

What we’re looking for

Previous catering/hospitality experience, preferably in a corporate or professional setting

Food Safety Certificate or equivalent qualification

Strong organisation, time management and attention to detail

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Flexible, proactive attitude; able to work independently and in a team

High standards of cleanliness and presentation

Advantageous

NVQ Level 2 in Catering or similar qualification
