Specialist Audiologist | Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and enthusiastic experienced Audiologist or Clinical Scientist to join the Cambridge Hearing Implant team at the Emmeline Centre; an IQIPs accredited auditory implant service providing cochlear implants (CI), bone conduction hearing devices (BCHD), middle ear implants (MEI) and auditory brainstem implants (ABI) across East Anglia.

This is a great opportunity to be part of one of the UK's largest hearing implant centres, working in a multidisciplinary setting, with links to multiple hearing research teams across the Cambridge Biomedical Campus and the University of Cambridge.

The Centre is purpose‑built and located within Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. The Emmeline team is friendly, supportive and committed to delivering high‑quality care.

You will ensure the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care, including complex case management. The role includes managing independent adult & paediatric CI, BCHD & MEI clinics, and contributing to departmental projects such as staff training, audit and research. Experience with hearing implant devices is desirable but not essential.

We are interested in candidates seeking a part-time role (maximum 35hrs, minimum of 24hrs/week).
