About this role
We are recruiting for a Support Adminstrator for the Hepatology Service who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The Patient Administrator post is a varied role working within the Hepatology Team alongside the Consultants CNS and Secretarial teams.
You will need to be confident dealing with members on the telephone and interacting with all staff groups.

The post holder will add all patients referred for procedures to Lorenzo waiting lists in a timely manner, ensuring accurate and current details concerning patient / consultant demographics are correct and procedure details updated.
Book patients for day case procedures in accordance with targets and the Trust’s access policy.
Liaise with patients, ensuring all appropriate letters and supporting information is provided.
Assist with any relevant telephone enquiries relating to the patient’s admission, expected discharge time and any queries they may have.
When removing patients from the waiting list in line with the Trust’s access policy, ensure correct communication is sent to referring clinician / clinical team.
Retrieve and action, as appropriate, all messages left via telephone and Envoy messaging services.
Act as the first point of contact within the Trust for patients who have any enquiries regarding their admission, liaising with clinical teams as appropriate.
