Hylands School has a long standing history of serving the community of Writtle and the wider Chelmsford area. We are ideally

situated for professionals commuting from across the region, with excellent transport links due to our proximity to both the A12

and the A414.

The Safeguarding Officer will provide strategic and operational leadership and support for safeguarding and child protection

across Hylands School, working closely with the Designated Safeguarding Lead, Headteacher and senior leaders to ensure the highest

standards of safeguarding practice. At Hylands School, we view safeguarding as the foundation of our students' ability to learn.

As our Safeguarding Officer, you are granted the autonomy to lead, the resources to innovate, and the mandate to be pivotal in

protecting our school community.
