Reporting to

Farm Manager

Key tasks within the job

• Undertake all aspects of poultry production.
• Ensuring the highest welfare standards are adhered to.
• Daily bedding and feeding of the animals in your care.
• Ventilation control.
• The recording of daily welfare checks and maintaining accurate records.
• To work in a safe manner.
• You will want to be part of a team with a willingness to work and improve.
• You will need to be reliable & have a good attitude towards working at weekends.

Job Type

Temporary fixed term contract – Ending on the 26th June 2027.

Hours per week

Working hours will be approximately 7.00am – 15:30pm, Monday to Thursday 7.00am – 14:30pm Friday and alternate weekends.

Working Times

Working hours are to be discussed but hours are usually 7.00am – 15:30pm. This position will include weekend working.

Pay Rate

£12.75 per hour Monday – Friday. £16.99 per hour Saturday and Sunday and any hours worked over 39 hours, Monday to Friday.
