Phlebotomist

The purpose of this post is to deliver safe, high quality phlebotomy services to the practice population. Working within your skills, competencies, and professional boundaries, you will provide primary care phlebotomy interventions and ensure safe and effective specimen collection. Responsible for providing and delivering primary health care interventions within the phlebotomy service. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary general practice team to promote integrated pathways of care that meet patient needs for the phlebotomy service. Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and all members of the practice team. Prioritise and complete daily work efficiently in line with the requirements of the phlebotomy service.
