Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, specialist SEN school in Norwich from September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting pupils with a range of additional needs in a nurturing, structured, and highly supportive environment.

The school is looking for a patient, resilient, and compassionate practitioner with a genuine commitment to helping children with SEND thrive both academically and emotionally.

Location - Norwich

Position - SEN Teaching Assistant

Type of work - SEN support within a specialist SEN school

Start date - September

Duration - Ongoing / Long‑term

Full time/part‑time - Full time (Monday to Friday)

Minimum rate of pay - £110-£120 per day

Experience supporting children with SEND in a UK school setting (SEN school experience desirable)

Understanding of strategies for supporting pupils with complex needs, ASD, SEMH, or MLD/SLD

Relevant SEN or TA training beneficial

Up‑to‑date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)

Hold Right to Work in the UK

Hold an enhanced child‑barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

Provide two professional child‑related references
