About this role
Care Support Worker – Help People Live Their Best Lives Every Day
Are you someone who enjoys helping others and making a real difference? At Peabody, we’re looking for caring, reliable people to join us as Care Support Workers, supporting individuals to live independently and confidently.
In this role, you’ll be supporting people with their day-to-day lives, including personal care, health needs, and daily routines. You’ll spend time getting to know individuals, helping them take part in activities they enjoy, encouraging independence, and making sure they feel safe, valued, and heard. You may also support people living with dementia or those going through diagnosis, providing patient, person-centred support.
You’ll work closely with colleagues, families, and other professionals, while also being confident working independently. The role can involve evening, weekend, and overnight shifts, including sleep-ins, so flexibility is important.
We’re looking for someone with a kind and positive approach, good communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different situations. Experience in care, particularly supporting people with dementia, is helpful but not essential—what matters most is your attitude and willingness to learn. A full UK manual driving licence is required.
In return, Peabody offers a supportive and inclusive workplace, ongoing training, and great benefits, including generous annual leave, pension contributions, wellbeing support, and opportunities to develop your career.
If you’re looking for a role where you can make a genuine difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.
