Fire Safety Advisor

About this role

CRITERIA ESSENTIAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TRAINING A/I/T A/I/T Bachelors Degree in Fire Safety / Engineering / Built environment, facilities, management, or similar relevant degree. or equivalent level of knowledge acquired through courses and experience. A/I A Fire Safety or Health and Safety qualification (Level 3) with a relevant background in Risk or Fire Safety management. A/I Level 3 award in education and training. A/I Fire Service background or considerable experience of working in a Fire Safety team, and environment. A/I Evidence of continuing professional and personal development A/I PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE A/I/T A/I/T Experience in the application of Fire Safety legislation, especially HTM-05 within an NHS organisation. A/I Experience in the development and facilitation of training programmes A/I Experience with the process of conducting Risk Assessments and inspections. A/I Experience in the use of IT systems and user support. A/I Has undertaken research to become familiar with how fire safety is managed in healthcare and be aware of the relevant guidance and legislation. A/I Experience of FS management within the NHS. A/I Previous experience working in NHS Estates and Facilities team. A/I
