Paediatric Liaison Service Administrator

Detailed job description and main responsibilities The post holder will provide confidential and effective administrative and secretarial support to the Paediatric Liaison Service, working under the direction of the Paediatric Liaison Specialist Nurse/Health Visitor. The role involves managing sensitive paediatric and safeguarding information, ensuring concerns are processed accurately, escalated appropriately, and actioned within agreed timeframes. The post holder will maintain accurate records, manage electronic systems and databases, and use Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to support correspondence, data management, reporting, presentations, audits, and service monitoring on a daily basis. They will act as a key point of contact for internal and external enquiries, demonstrating professionalism, tact, and discretion at all times. The role requires the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload in a busy environment, working both independently and as part of the wider Safeguarding Team and be flexible to meet the needs of the service. The post holder is expected to maintain high standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and communication, in line with Trust policies and safeguarding procedures.
