Playworker – Breakfast & After School Club

21 hours per week - Monday to Friday - Term Time Only
We are looking for a Playworker to support our Breakfast and After School Club at Dale Hall Primary School. This is a part-time, term-time only role for someone who enjoys working with children and can help provide a safe, friendly and engaging setting before and after the school day.
Main duties
- Plan and support play activities for children aged 4 to 11
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
- Supervise children before and after school
- Communicate clearly with parents and carers
- Prepare snacks and follow hygiene and safety procedures
- Follow safeguarding procedures at all times
Requirements
Essential
- Must be aged 18 or over
- Experience of working with children aged 4 to 11 (paid or voluntary)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Able to support children in a fun and structured environment
Desirable
- Childcare qualification, or working towards one
- Safeguarding or First Aid training
