About this role
What skills and experience we're looking for
Good honours degree or equivalent and qualified teacher status (QTS)
Ability to teach throughout the age range up to and including A level
Ability to teach Textiles
Ability to teach Graphics (preferable, not essential)
Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating successful lessons
Personal commitment to professional development
Ability to work co-operatively with others and to lead development
Management skills that are appropriate to the post being applied for
Experience of using ICT for at teaching and administrative work
Willingness to contribute towards the school’s extra-curricular programme
Understanding of the school’s Christian ethos (whatever the candidate’s own personal beliefs)

We seek to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Art and textiles - this is a full-time post, but part-time will be considered. This is an exciting opportunity for either a newly qualified or more experienced teacher to work within an ambitious and supportive department in a high achieving school. Excellent opportunities for development exist as the faculty looks to enhance the departments specialisms.
