Vehicle Paint Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Paint Technician to join our specialist bodyshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, colour-matching, and refinishing a wide range of vehicles, ensuring every repair meets our standards.

Duties

• Ensuring all paintwork meets quality standards, manufacturer specifications and customer expectations.
• Regularly clean and maintain all painting equipment, spray booths, and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the paint shop, including proper use of PPE and waste disposal.
• Work effectively with the team to ensure a smooth and efficient repair process.
• Additionally, we value adaptability and a proactive approach. Therefore, you will be expected to take on other duties and responsibilities as required to meet the company's operational needs and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• ATA or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Paint.
• Experience with specific paint systems (e.g., water-based paints) and COSHH compliance.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive repair are advantageous.
