Vehicle Panel Technician

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Panel Technician to join our specialist bodyshop team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strip/refit, repair, and replacement of vehicle body panels of a wide range of vehicles, ensuring every repair meets our standards.

Duties

• Accurately assess vehicle body damage to determine the necessary repairs or panel replacements.
• Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and strictly adhere to all workshop health, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Safely operate and maintain a range of workshop tools and equipment.
• Work closely with the team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
• Additionally, we value adaptability and a proactive approach. Therefore, you will be expected to take on other duties and responsibilities as required to meet the company's operational needs and strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• ATA or NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair.
• Experience with MIG Brazing, Aluminium repair, and the use of data-led measuring systems.
• Knowledge of EV/Hybrid high-voltage shutdown procedures.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Panel Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive repair are advantageous.
