Transport Driver Liaison

Turners (Soham) Ltd is seeking to recruit a Transport Driver Liaison, working the night shift, to join our fast-paced Traffic Office at Newmarket.

The key elements of the Driver Liaison role include but are not limited to

Ensuring queries are dealt with in a timely and professional manner and to the satisfaction of the Client.

Use our vehicle tracking systems and our in-house traffic management system.

Responsible for data entry and communicating with drivers and customers to ensure good customer service.

Establishing communication between the traffic office, drivers and yard operatives.

General administration duties.

Control the receipt of driver’s documentation.

Driver Liaison skills we are looking for

Having good teamwork skills.

Showing the ability to use your initiative.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal to interact with clients and internal teams.

Well organised with strong administrative skills.

Accurate and have a good eye for detail.

Full training will be provided on the relevant IT systems.

The working pattern is based around a four nights on, four nights off shift pattern.
