Competitive, negotiable depending on experience Position Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Practice Manager at Beauchamp House Surgery, a well-established GP practice serving approximately 12,000 patients from a single site. Role Summary The Practice Manager is a key member of the senior leadership team, responsible for the overall management of practice operations. This role involves leading a multidisciplinary team, ensuring efficient service delivery, financial sustainability, and compliance with NHS and regulatory requirements, while driving the strategic development of the practice. Key Responsibilities Operations Management Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice Manage staff performance and workflow Provide leadership to relevant teams including admin, nursing, and salaried GPs Human Resources Lead recruitment, retention, and workforce planning Conduct staff inductions and return-to-work meetings Ensure HR compliance and maintain accurate records Implement appraisal, training, and development systems Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures Practice Development Drive achievement of QOF and performance targets Manage contracts, procurement, and supplier relationships Ensure policies are up to date and compliant Lead continuous improvement initiatives Maintain NHS contractual compliance Patient Services & Communication Develop communication strategies Support Patient Participation Group Manage complaints in line with NHS guidance Promote digital patient services Facilities & Compliance Oversee premises and health and safety Ensure IT security and information governance Maintain insurance cover Lead business continuity planning Ensure ongoing CQC compliance
