CAMHS practitioner

About this role

As a senior member of our established team, you will champion the delivery of high-quality care across the borough. While your clinical base will be our Barking clinic, we support modern working practices and offer provisions for occasional remote work.

Key responsibilities include

Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) Working

The team works with a strong multi-disciplinary team (MDT) focus and the successful candidate will be expected contribute to MDT discussion to support a collaborative approach to support.

Supervision & Mentorship

Providing clinical supervision and nurturing the growth of multi-disciplinary practitioners, helping to shape the next generation of clinicians.

Direct Practice

Completing assessments and therapeutic interventions for a diverse range of young people and families.

Working Pattern

We are looking for a dedicated colleague to join us on a part-time basis. We welcome applications from individuals who bring a variety of lived experiences and professional backgrounds to our team. Starting with NELFT NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex. Probationary Period This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff). High Cost Area Supplement – Outer London This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £4,870 to a maximum of £6,137 p.a. pro rata for part time).
