Production Operative

Our client based in the heart of Leighton Buzzard's industrial estate is currently recruiting for Production Operatives to join its growing team in the manufacturing industry. Working with experienced members of staff, successful candidates will be provided with full training on the process from start to finish with regular opportunities to develop and gain a permanent contract as a production operative after successful trial period.

Job Duties (Production Operative)

• Operating machinery to produce orders to customer specification
• Learning to diagnose & repair common faults with machinery
• Ensuring that machinery is cleaned and maintained throughout shift
• Ensuring that company Health & Safety is followed at all times

Working hours (Production Operative)

Choice of the following patterns

• Monday - Friday 06:00 - 14:00 / 14:00 - 22:00 on a weekly rotating basis
• Monday - Thursday 06:00 - 16:00 / 16:00 - 02:00 on a weekly rotating basis

Pay Rates (Production Operative)

• £13.00 - £14.56 per hour for standard working hours on the 5-day rota
• £13.00 - £16.12 per hour for standard working hours on the 4-day rota
• Overtime >40hrs weekly paid at 1.5x
