About this role
Provide clinical and managerial leadership and support to all multi-disciplinary and clerical staff Plan and co-ordinate the placement of appropriate personnel/skills across the department and other areas in the Trust Provide optimum use of resources communicating effectively with support services and departments To assist with the management of resources in the clinical area within the agreed budget Implement Trust and Directorate evidence based policies and guidelines Work closely with own team, the Matrons/Service Manager to promote good working relationships with all members of the department Foster and maintain effective communication and professional relationships with other departments within the Trust Manage staff performance and development through a process of appraisal, which should include a cycle of constructive performance review and the establishment of a relevant personal development plan Act as a resource and facilitator for support and guidance of staff, patients and relatives Please view the attached job description for full details of the role, and use your supporting statement to confirm how you meet the essential and desirable criteria on the job specification.
