Hays are currently recruiting for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to support our client on a temporary basis, working across high end commercial landscaping projects in the Colchester area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled operative to join a well established team delivering high quality outdoor environments.

Your new role

In this role, you will be responsible for

• Planting and maintaining bedding plants to a high standard
• Carrying out composting and soil preparation
• Regular watering and upkeep of landscaped areas
• Supporting the delivery of premium commercial grounds maintenance projects
• Working hours are 07:00 - 16:30, offering a consistent daytime schedule.

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience in grounds maintenance or horticulture
• A full UK driving licence (essential)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in work quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
