About this role
We are looking for a Social Worker to join a Children's Team.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a permanent contract/s.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews in line with statutory requirements
- Manage a varied caseload involving child protection, CIN, and court work
- Conduct Section 47 investigations and safeguarding enquiries
- Work collaboratively with multi-agency professionals to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children
- Prepare high-quality reports and maintain accurate case records
- Attend strategy meetings, conferences, and court proceedings where required
Requirements
- Qualified Social Worker with Social Work England registration
- Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures
- Experience completing assessments and managing complex cases
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
