We are looking for qualified Electricians for a long-term PAYE position working on industrial electrical systems and switchgear assembly. Please only apply if you are confident working to high technical and safety standards.

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30 – 17:30
• Overtime available at enhanced rates (once permanent)

• £45,723 per year (PAYE, based on 45 hours/week)
• Weekly pay

Role Overview

You will be working on industrial electrical assembly and installation work, including switchgear and control systems in a modern facility, with optional mobile work depending on qualifications.

This is a precision electrical role requiring high standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Wiring and assembling 230/415V switchgear panels from schematics
• Working with electrical drawings (and occasionally interpreting without full documentation)
• Installing telemetry and monitoring systems
• Building and terminating cable assemblies
• Preparing, crimping, and testing electrical connections
• Working with a wide range of industrial cable sizes
• Ensuring all work meets strict quality and safety standards

Requirements

• City & Guilds 17th Edition (preferred)
• ECS Gold Card (required for mobile roles)
• City & Guilds 2391 (required for mobile roles)
• Strong knowledge of electrical testing, termination, and installation
• Ability to work independently and read technical drawings
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Travel to client sites required
• Must hold 2391 + ECS Gold Card
• Otherwise, majority of work is based at Haverhill site
