Cranswick Fresh Poultry is hiring at our state of the art, purpose-built processing facility in Eye, Suffolk.

As part of our exciting expansion project we are now recruiting for a Technical Compliance Officer.

Shift

08:00am-17:00pm Monday-Friday with flexibility required

Job requirements of

Technical Compliance Officer

· Responsible for monitoring product quality, safety and legality and reporting any issue to the technical department.

· Carry out quality audits across the site, audit factory procedures and process control.

· Preparation, management of and presence during Internal Audits.

· Management of and presence during Pest Control (technician and biologist) visits.

· Undertaking of routine traceability exercises as per schedule and customer requests.

· Undertaking in-depth hygiene audits as per the hygiene audit schedule.

· Performing CCP audits as per the CCP audit schedule.

· Responsible for ensuring that all internal, hygiene and CCP audit actions are completed and signed off accurately and in a timely manner.

· Undertake such ad hoc duties as maybe required to benefit the business.

· To always act in the best interest of Cranswick Country Foods

What you will need

· Relevant food manufacturing experience (minimum 3 years), preferably within a Technical/Quality orientated role.

· Intermediate Food Hygiene.

· PC skills (Microsoft Office Word, Excel & Powerpoint).

· Intermediate HACCP.

Pay and benefits

· Salary between – £30,000-£35,000
