About this role
We are looking for a Children's Social Worker to join a Children's Team.
This role requires a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a permanent contract/s.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled practitioner with strong assessment experience who is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Completing comprehensive parenting assessments
- Undertaking Child & Family Assessments and risk assessments
- Working closely with families to identify strengths and areas of support
- Producing high-quality court reports and care plans
- Attending court proceedings, strategy meetings, and multi-agency meetings
- Managing a varied caseload effectively within statutory timescales
- Working in partnership with partner agencies to safeguard children and promote welfare
Requirements
- Social Work England registration
- Previous experience within Parenting Assessment, Child Protection, or Court Teams
- Strong assessment and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and within a fast-paced environment
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service preferred
