Job requirements of a

Factory Trainer

As a Factory Trainer, you will be responsible for facilitating high-quality training to colleagues in the factory, keeping health and safety, compliance and food safety top priorities. You will work within the HR team and alongside production within the factory to identify, monitor and maintain training requirements within the business.

What you will do

· Organise and plan H&S, Technical, Environmental and procedural training within the factory

· Ensure all refresher and updated training is conducted within the required timeframes

· Plan and deliver all onboarding training requirements within the required timeframes

· Ensure quality training is delivered and clearly understood

· Asses the competency but completing follow ups with individuals

· Collaborate with the H&S, Technical and production teams to improve standards of current procedures

· Complete training administration tasks to ensure all records are accurate

· Complete regular observations to ensure individuals are carrying out tasks and procedures as expected

Shift pattern

Monday to Friday

Hours – 6AM -3PM (40hours per week)

What you will need

· Experience working within a factory environment, ideally FMCG.

· Experience training staff is beneficial.

· You will be a confident communicator, patient and engaging.

· Have an excellent standard of spoken and written English.

· Have excellent IT skills and be confident using programs such as Excel and Outlook.

· You will be a flexible, and a team player.

Pay and benefits

· Rate of Pay - £14.47 per hour

· Rate inclusive of £1 per hour weekly attendance bonus

· Overtime – time and a third after completed normal weekly hours

· Pension – 3% employer contributions/5% employee contributions
