About the Team

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our lively, passionate, and welcoming team. The role will be extremely varied, and you will play a key part in making a significant difference to some of the most vulnerable people in Lambeth, those sleeping rough or without a home.

About the Role

The Rough Sleeping Public Protection Officer is an established role in Lambeth’s supported housing commissioning team. The post holder will undertake key tasks to reduce rough sleeping and associated anti-social behaviour within the borough and will have experience in the homelessness sector, working with rough sleeping outreach teams, partnership working, stakeholder management and political awareness.

The postholder will work alongside the Rough Sleeping Coordinator and the commissioned outreach team to reduce problematic hot spot areas and encampments and ensure all rough sleepers are supported to cease anti-social street activity and access accommodation or specialist interventions as appropriate.
