Crown Chicken Ltd. are looking to recruit an Area Manager for our Agricultural division covering our farms in the Norfolk/Suffolk area

WAGE TO BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW

The main duties of the role

To manage the nominated group of farms and staff in order to meet the business requirements, in accordance with the appropriate Company Codes, Policies and Statutory Requirements.

Covering Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex region

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to

· Oversee the management of the farms to ensure that bird welfare is never compromised

· Ensure the farms are effectively managed and that monitoring of ventilation, heating, feed, water, litter and lighting takes place within the agreed standards

· Ensure all farms are adequately staffed and liaise with other Area Managers to source and arrange cover as required

· Manage team to achieve high performance standards

· Ensure breaches to company policy are dealt with in line with company procedure

· Cover the alarm as required ensuring it is operational and any faults rectified immediately

Requirements

People management/supervisory experience

Poultry farming experience
