About this role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, close-knit team at ESNEFT. Ipswich Hospital, are looking for a specialty doctor dermatologist to be an integral part of the team.
Across East Suffolk and North Essex Foundation Trust we are committed to support our clinicians in building and developing their private practice alongside NHS caseload allowing a hospital delivered location to these private services.
Provisional interview date 12th June.
All specialty doctors in the department have a continuing and individual responsibility for the care of patients in their charge and a general responsibility to provide, in conjunction with their colleagues, an effective dermatology Service to meet the needs of the local population, within the resources available.

The post-holder will
- Work with colleagues to provide the highest standard of care
- Work with the multi-professional team to develop care pathways and clinical guidelines
- Develop and maintain good working practices within wards, outpatients and A&E
- Collaborate and promote close working links with colleagues in community services and primary care
- Offer support to junior medical colleagues, and nursing colleagues
- To be responsible for complying with Trust Infection Control policies and clinical guidelines.
- Ensure training and development needs are followed up and the effectiveness of the acquired training and development evaluated in term of self, patient and service.
- To be responsible for the quality of data recorded. The data should be accurate, legible (if hand written), recorded in a timely manner, kept up to date and appropriately filed.
