Handyperson - 3 month contract

2 Sisters Thetford is a food manufacturing business.

We have an opportunity for a Factory Handyperson / Building Services Operative / Building Maintenance Person to join the engineering team.

The main aim for the role is to help improve the fabrication of the building internally and externally and assist with general maintenance jobs.

This is a 3 month fixed term contract.

The role is Mon - Fri, 40 hours per week £17.24

Main Responsibilities

• Assist in with general building maintenance and repairs
• Painting and decorating
• Fixing lockers
• General building improvement
• Supporting the building services team

Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as handyperson or tradesperson or within building services
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Basic understanding of electrical, woodwork, plumbing system
• Good communication ability
• Well-organised and apt in problem-solving
• Attention to detail
• Experience in the food or manufacturing sector would be beneficial
