About this role
Care Support Worker – Help People Live Their Best Lives Every Day
Do you want a role where you can truly make a difference? If you’re someone who brings kindness, positivity and compassion into every situation, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. Join Peabody as a Care Support Worker and become an essential part of helping people live independently, confidently and with dignity.
In this rewarding role, no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting individuals with everyday tasks such as personal care and managing their health needs, while also encouraging them to enjoy hobbies, build confidence and stay connected to their community. Your presence will make a real impact, helping people feel safe, valued and empowered to make choices about their own lives.
You’ll work closely with families, friends and other professionals to create a supportive network around each person. You’ll also help maintain a clean, safe and comfortable home environment, keep accurate records and play an active part in team meetings and care reviews. Flexibility is key, as you’ll be working across a 24/7 rota that includes evenings, weekends and overnight shifts, ensuring support is always there when it’s needed most.
We’re looking for people with a genuine passion for care, a sense of humour and a resilient, positive attitude. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential, along with respect for diversity and individual needs.
Experience in care is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided, and a Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is a bonus. A satisfactory DBS check will also be required.
This is more than just a job – it’s an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and make a lasting difference in people’s lives every single day.
If you feel inspired to join Peabody and be part of something truly rewarding, apply today by submitting an anonymised CV along with a short statement telling us why you’re the perfect fit. Interviews will take place on 19th and 22nd June 2026.
