Main Responsibilities
Child Development
Support children’s learning and play through engaging activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
Key Person Role
Build strong, trusting relationships with children and provide regular progress updates to parents and carers.
Health & Safety
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment, ensuring all safeguarding policies are strictly followed.
Teamwork
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth daily operation of the room.
Observation
Assist in carrying out observations and planning next steps to support each child's individual journey.
Requirements
Qualification
Minimum Level 2 Qualification in Childcare / Early Years (Essential).
Knowledge
A solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Communication
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff and parents.
Passion
A genuine desire to make a positive impact on children's early lives.
DBS
Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to undergo one).
