Mental Health Assistant Practitioner for Paediatrics

The assistant practitioner for ward 10 will work alongside registered nurses and MDT on an acute children's ward caring for children and young people aged 0-19 years. the role will be specifically for those who attend in mental health crisis or patients with eating disorders, this includes providing therapeutic interventions, working with other agencies to ensure safe admission and discharge. These patients will also require observations and meal planning which will be under supervision of the mental health clinical specialist.
