MRI Lead Clinical Scientist

Establish , expand and lead the Trusts MRI Physics service, establishing workforce, processes, policies, and quality standards. Lead MRI physics support for the Trust, including scanner performance, image optimisation, and MRI safety. Provide expert scientific advice on MRI safety, regulatory compliance, procurement, commissioning, optimisation, and complex technical issues. Act as, or work in partnership with, the Trusts Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert (MRSE). Lead MRI scanner commissioning, performance evaluation, and image quality optimisation across clinical services. Collaborate with clinical and academic partners to support research, innovation, and service development. Deliver MRI safety and physics training and supervise trainee clinical scientists. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, including the Control of Electromagnetic Fields at Work Regulations 2016 Uphold Trust values and corporate governance standards, including information governance, safeguarding, and health and safety.
