About this role
The Project Coordinator will lead and coordinate community engagement activities, outreach projects, workshops, campaigns, and the development of Luton Foodbank’s Food Club and wider community programmes.
The postholder will act as a key representative of Luton Foodbank within the community, delivering presentations, assemblies, workshops, and engagement activities that raise awareness of food poverty, strengthen partnerships, and support community impact.
The role will also involve providing information, advice, and guidance to clients and community members, supporting individuals to access appropriate services, community resources, and wider support opportunities where needed.
The postholder will coordinate projects, campaigns, and events in collaboration with the Operations Manager and CEO, helping ensure programmes are delivered effectively and aligned with the organisation’s strategic objectives.
The postholder will provide flexible operational and community support across the organisation, helping teams respond effectively during busy periods, campaigns, and service demands.
This is a dynamic, community-facing role requiring excellent communication, organisation, relationship-building, and client engagement skills.
