Yard Operative

Tardis Environmental UK Ltd are a well-established portable toilet and tanker hire business that operate a large fleet of HGV and LGV vehicles across various locations situated throughout the UK. We hire temporary waste and water solutions from 1000ltr waste and water storage tanks up to 30.000ltr storage tanks. Currently members of FORS and hold Gold accreditation.

We are currently looking to recruit a Yard Operative, based out of our Sandy Depot.

Salary

£14.00/hour ( With overtime available) - Monday to Friday – 6.00am start

Hours

40-55/week

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, clean, and maintain portable toilets and other plant for hire, ensuring high standards.

Load, unload, and tow plant safely; assist with deliveries and site visits as needed.

Maintain yard cleanliness, manage stock levels, and complete audits and reports.

Report and log plant damage, liaising with HQ for repairs and parts.

Provide excellent customer service and support on-site when required.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and equipment regulations.

Work independently or as part of a team, with flexibility on hours and travel.

FLT experience required but not essential (full training)
