We are looking for a positive individual with drive and enthusiasm to join our Parks and Open Spaces team at Bedford Borough Council. Our team is dynamic, high-performing, and fast-paced, playing a significant role in delivering an attractive and diverse environment throughout Bedford Borough.
The primary responsibility of the Tree Officer is to inspect our tree stock, address customer inquiries, and manage work with contractors to create and maintain a suitable green environment. We require the postholder to have a relevant qualification of at least Level 2 and the ability to inspect and manage our tree stock using our LOB system and mobile technology.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, self-motivated, and well-organised, with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing service excellence. This role requires regular site visits, so it is essential to possess a full, clean, and current driving license.
