We're recruiting a Slitting Machine Setter / Operator for a busy manufacturing site in King's Lynn. This is a permanent role working a triple rotating shift pattern. You'll be responsible for operating slitting machinery safely and efficiently, producing finished reels/rolls to specification and supporting production targets. Training is provided.
Responsibilities
- Operate (and where required, set) slitting machinery to meet production and quality standards
- Complete roll changes, blade/knife changes, and machine adjustments
- Carry out in-process quality checks and record results accurately
- Basic troubleshooting and routine checks; escalate faults when required
- Maintain housekeeping standards and follow all health & safety procedures
- Support smooth shift handovers and accurate production paperwork
What we need from you
- Proven experience operating production machinery
- Able to work the rotating shift pattern reliably
- Good mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
Desirable (not essential);
- Experience operating a slitting machine or similar converting machinery
- Forklift licence
