Role Overview
As a Care Manager based in our Cambourne office, you’ll serve as a vital support link for our key partners, including local authorities, the NHS, and social workers. You’ll deliver leadership and guidance to care teams, conduct assessments and care reviews, and collaborate closely with health professionals to maintain high-quality, person-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
In this role,
- You'll act as the first point of contact for our main stakeholders,
- Offering support, supervision, and spot checks;
- Assist with staff inductions and ongoing training;
- Foster strong relationships with clients and families;
- Undertake care and risk assessments;
- Monitor service delivery in line with CQC standards;
- Manage complaints and safeguarding matters; maintain accurate care documentation; support audits and reporting for the Registered Manager;
- Make new care plans and review the existing ones;
- Liaise with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and families;
- Contribute to team meetings and service improvement initiatives,
Essential Requirements
- Experience in a similar role, such as Care Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Care Coordinator.
- Essentially, a Level 3 or preferably a Level 5 Diploma in Adult Care.
- Understanding of CQC frameworks and safeguarding duties.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Competent IT and administrative abilities.
- A compassionate, professional, and dependable demeanour.
