Sister Charge Nurse

Duties of this role include

Provide hands-on clinical care, acting as a senior point of support for complex or deteriorating patients. Coordinate daily clinical activity and ensure safe staffing levels, skill mix, and continuity of care. Allocate and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring responsibilities are clearly defined and patient needs are met. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NMC and organisational standards. Act as a key liaison for patients, families, consultants, and members of the wider multidisciplinary team. Assist with the coordination of admissions, discharges, and patient flow within the department.
