We have a rare opportunity starting in November 2026 till July 2027 in an extremely successful good rated school in Stevenage. Due to a member of staff going on maternity leave, Randstad are supporting the school with recruiting a dedicated KS1 teacher, on either a long term or permanent contract.

Responsibilities

Be accountable for pupil's attainment, progress and learning outcomes

Be aware of pupils capabilities and their prior knowledge, and plan teaching to build on

Dedicate yourself and take every opportunity to expand every child's learning experience

Guide pupils to reflect on the progress they have made and their emerging needs

Encourage pupils to take a responsible and conscientious attitude to their own work

Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of how pupils learn and how this impacts on teaching

Requirements

Hold qualified teacher status (QTS)

Have experience in a similar role

Be resilient and have a determined approach

Be able to engage with a wide range of pupils

Have fantastic communication skills, and not be afraid to voice new ideas
