£30-£42 per hour (dependent on experience, skills, and qualifications)

We specialise in supporting children and young people with additional needs, carefully matching each student with a tutor who complements their learning style, interests, and goals. If you are passionate about SEND education and making a genuine difference, we would be delighted to hear from you.

As a SEND Tutor, you will provide tailored, student-centred tuition to learners with a range of additional needs. While some sessions may be delivered online, the majority of tuition will take place face-to-face in community or home settings across Cambridgeshire.

Deliver high-quality, individualised tuition to children and young people with SEND

Plan and deliver engaging, bespoke lessons that support progress and participation

Set and review SMART targets to track and support learner development

Design and implement interventions that support both academic and emotional engagement

Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and behaviour following each session

Conduct risk assessments to ensure safe learning environments

Work collaboratively with families and professionals, including participation in multi-agency meetings

Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures

We are looking for individuals who

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have significant relevant teaching experience

Have strong experience supporting learners with SEND across primary, secondary, or post-16 settings

Are engaging, adaptable, and passionate about supporting learners with diverse needs

Possess excellent subject knowledge and communication skills

Are confident working independently and managing their own schedule

Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to obtain one)

Have a clear understanding of safeguarding practices and creating safe learning environments
