Customer Order Management Representative - Level II

Location

Peterborough (Fully onsite initially, transitioning to hybrid)

Contract Duration

12 months (with strong potential for extension)

Pay Rate

£14-15 per hour (PAYE)

Are you an experienced Customer Service or Order Management professional with a background in engineering or manufacturing? We are looking for two proactive individuals to join our team in Peterborough, managing the end-to-end order lifecycle for key customer accounts.

What You'll Do

Account Management

Act as the single point of contact for assigned customer accounts, managing the entire order lifecycle from setup and entry to tracking and logistics.

Issue Resolution

Own and resolve complex customer inquiries and escalations through detailed research and cross-functional collaboration.

Compliance & Documentation

Ensure accurate records are maintained and that all export/shipping documentation complies with relevant legislation and policies.

Quality Liaison

Act as the bridge between customers and manufacturing locations for any quality or non-conformance claims.

Reporting

Prepare and distribute standard and customized internal and customer reports.

What We Are Looking For

Experience

2+ years of experience in a Customer Order Management (COM) or Customer Service (CS) role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Technical Affinity

A solid understanding of or affinity for technical environments and processes.

Communication

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships.

Problem Solving

A sharp eye for detail and the ability to navigate complex tracking and quality management systems.

Work Structure

This is a full-time position requiring 5 days per week onsite during the initial training period, with the expectation to evolve into a hybrid model (2 days remote per week) later on.
