Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Nursery Assistants to support nurseries across Oxford and surrounding areas, providing flexible work with competitive pay rates, and an excellent opportunity for anyone looking for variety, flexibility, and rewarding Early Years experience, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children in a temporary role that is open to both experienced and inexperienced candidates.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with daily routines, learning activities, and play in a nursery setting, create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children, build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents, support the nursery team in delivering high-quality care, and adapt to different nursery settings and flexible working schedules, utilising long-tail keyword skills such as childcare assistance, nursery care, and early years education.
Required Skills & Experience
No previous experience required — we welcome beginners, empathetic with a proactive, “can-do” attitude, passion for childcare and Early Years education, willingness to obtain an Enhanced DBS check if not already held, and ability to work flexibly and build strong relationships with children, staff, and parents, demonstrating skills in childcare, early years education, and nursery assistance.
