Admin Assistant (Finance)

Fixed Term | 4 weeks (24 August - 18 September 2026)

Part time or Full time up to 37 hours per week.

Join our Enrolment SURGE Team and play a key part in supporting one of the busiest and most exciting periods of the academic year.

We're recruiting three temporary roles across South Hampshire College Group, including Student Finance Support, to help deliver a smooth, efficient enrolment experience across our college group. This is a great opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in admissions, student services, and customer support.

About the Role - Student Finance Support

You'll support students with bursary applications, funding queries, and general finance‑related guidance during the enrolment period. You'll be part of a friendly, fast‑paced team ensuring students receive the help they need to start their studies successfully.

What You'll Do

• Support students throughout the enrolment journey
• Provide excellent customer service and clear guidance
• Assist with bursary applications and finance queries
• Help manage appointments, enquiries, and on‑site processes
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the college during peak periods
• Contribute to a positive and welcoming enrolment experience

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A proactive, flexible approach
• Confidence working in a busy, customer‑facing environment
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure
• A positive attitude and willingness to support students

What We Offer

• One full day of training w/c 17 August 2026
• 37 hours per week starting 24 August to 18 September 2026 (4 weeks)
