** Background – The successful candidate will join the team of Dr Kyriaki Giorgakoudi within the Centre for Health and Care Innovation Research and the Department of Population Health & Policy, School of Health and Medical Sciences. The postholder will contribute to the successful partnership between City St George’s and the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre at The Royal Marsden and the Institute of Cancer Research. They will also work on infectious disease models, in consultation with policy makers.

** Responsibilities – The Research Fellow will lead economic evaluation analysis, develop funding applications and contribute to data collection and management. They will liaise with stakeholders including policy makers, prepare reports and, train and manage the work of Research Assistants in the team.

** Person Specification – We are seeking a Research Fellow with strong quantitative skills and an interest in health economic evaluation research. A PhD in health economics, economic evaluation, mathematical modelling, operational research, statistics or related field with a strong quantitative component is expected.

The selection process will involve an interview and a presentation on economic evaluation or other work the candidate has carried out which is relevant to the role. Further details will be confirmed at the interview stage.
