An incredible opportunity to join the Royal Free as a Junior Clinical Teaching Fellow level within the Acute Medicine department on a 12 month fixed term basis.
This position is ideal for those interested in strengthening their teaching knowledge and experience, taking advantage of a full-range of in-house educational opportunities all whilst simultaneously enhancing your CV.
The postholder will work with the Sub Dean UCLMS, undergraduate site leads, and
service line leads to continue to develop and improve teaching on the RFH site,
improving student/trainee experience, and provide clinical care where appropriate. In
addition to core teaching activities the post holders would be expected to select a
primary educational quality improvement project(s) to develop and deliver during the
course of the post.
You will be at the front end of Acute Medicine Education team led by the Education Lead consultant and supported by a Senior Clinical Fellow to provide World Class teaching to undergraduates and peers.
Acute Medicine is an exciting patient focused service providing the perfect opportunity for case-based discussions and an excellent learning setting. The Acute Medicine department should provide a challenging but highly satisfying development environment. You will be an integral part of the team providing teaching to medical students and peers with a minimal contribution to an on call medical rota.
