Activate Learning are looking for a Receptionist to join our ever-expanding and busy admissions team based at Banbury and Bicester College.The purpose of this role is to deliver an exceptional front line customer experience, including by telephone and other digital channels, which raises the reputation of Activate Learning and sets it apart from other providers. The role will predominantly involve meeting and greeting customers and students at reception, signing them in, and working alongside the admissions team.This is a permanent, part-time role working 25 hours (0.68 FTE) based at our Banbury College Campus.Working HoursThis role is offered as a job-share position. The working pattern is outside of core working hours and there will also be a requirement to provide additional cover for open events, enrolment and clearing sessions, which may include some Saturdays. The standard weekly hours are as follows:

Monday

1:30pm - 5:00pm (3.5 hours)

Tuesday

1:30pm - 9:00pm (7.5 hours)

Wednesday

1:30pm - 5:00pm (3.5 hours)

Thursday

1:30pm - 9:00pm (7.5 hours)

Friday

1:30pm - 4:30pm (3 hours)

Out of Term

Monday to Thursday

12:00pm - 5:00pm (5 hours per day)

Friday

11:30am - 4:30pm (5 hours)What do you need to be successful as a Receptionist at Activate Learning?The ideal candidate will be resilient, solutions-focused, and able to multitask effectively. You will have the ability to input data accurately and efficiently, ensuring that records are kept up to date and changes are recorded in line with GDPR and our privacy policies. You will be confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.Therefore, if you are highly organised, IT literate, confident, customer-focused, and able to communicate effectively with a variety of people in person, by phone, and via email, we would like to hear from you.
